Use it wisely and soon you’ll find that trading desperately for GE goods is a distant memory.įor more information and stats visit the Wiki article on Recurring Quests.īelow, a video about looping. Suddenly the goods from your era are pouring in along with other nice goodies such as fp and medals. Recurring quests is a game changer, especially once you have a high level Arc that allows you to boost your guild mates or friends. If you are in desperate need of goods it is maybe worthwhile but in my own experience, Murphy’s Law sets in and you are guaranteed to receive piles of coins or medals when you most want something else. On top of that, a Chateau doesn’t affect how much fp you get it’s inside a chest, not a specific number of fp that can be changed by a percentage. The chance of getting fp is quite low, just a few percent. It’s tempting to blast through the pay quest over and over in the hope of acquiring piles of fp, as one of the rewards is a medium (5) fp chest. What your own personal comfort level is will vary of course. (For the nosy people, I’m in Industrial and the number is 2 million.) This rule for myself keeps me from blasting through ALL of my supplies which I may need at some point but I also don’t keep useless excess that serves no purpose. Basically if I have at least # supplies, I can complete the quest. I personally set a limit for myself that has grown as I’ve increased in Age. Do it as often as you can without killing your supply stash. Here you basically have the option of paying X supplies and X coins to complete a quest. One of the recurring quests is “Happy Unbirthday”. Up Your Production and Use the Pay Quest Judiciously Once you have all your coins, abort the partially completed coins quest and get back to “Spend FP.” You likely have a pile in your bar now anyways. Depending on your production you may get through that “Gather Coins” quest twice, thrice or even more times. Spend enough fp to complete it silly.) Abort through until you have the coins quest up and start collecting on all those buildings. Once you have a city full of coin buildings blinking at you, clear out your FP recurring quest. All you need to do is be patient for one day and not collect your coin producing buildings (such as Shrines, Sky Watches, some GB’s etc) until you get them all synched. The vast majority of coins production happens in 24 hour rotation. So which one do you pass up on? Well, none. In the perfect world you would have 3 recurring quests up at all times, “Spend FP”, “Gather Supplies”, and “Gather Coins.” That isn’t an option. When you start doing this regularly (like dozens of times per day) suddenly you find you have no problems with goods. Obviously you get medals and bps from boosting your friends, but the biggest benefit is being able to loop through the “Spend FP” quest over and over and over again. Essentially it multiplies the rewards you receive from all quests, including recurring. Perhaps because so many people fail to use recurring quests well. The Chateau is maybe the most underrated of the Great Buildings. Here are some tips to get the most out of your recurring quests. As I complete one I abort through all other quests (except pay quests, see below) and start again. For this I personally prefer “Spend FP” and “Gather Supplies”. Ones that you can get through relatively quickly. The key is to have these quests up at all times. Complete Technology – Complete 2 techs on your tech treeĪll of these quests can be either completed or aborted.Complete Production – Complete X of a given type of production.Pay Quests – Pay X coins and Y supplies.Once you get to the recurring quests, they come in a few basic types depending mostly on where you are in your tech tree: Some of those you can abort but many you can’t, so you just need to plow through them. ![]() ![]() To acquire access to recurring quests you need to get through all the side and bonus quests at a given level. You can have none, one, or two recurring quests available at any given time (depending on your age and progress in tech tree). Recurring quests are ones that happen between and after the story quests.
